Siri came to Oregon by way of Wisconsin and Minnesota. Siri received a B.A. in Dance and Biomedical Studies from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and holds a masters degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling in Portland, OR. Siri received training as a mental health counselor at the National University of Natural Medicine where she cultivated therapeutic relationships with emerging adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and eating disorders while utilizing both contemplative and somatic approaches to psychotherapy. As an intern registered with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists #R4335, Siri began as a clinical specialist at Protocall Services, Inc. providing crisis intervention and stabilization utilizing strengths-based and brief solution-focused models of therapy. Siri is glad to have landed at Windhorse: a community steeped in compassion for relationship to self and other, which she believes is at the heart of healing.
Siri is also trained as a Yoga instructor and teaches in the Portland metro. You may find Siri practicing yoga, hiking and backpacking the beautiful douglas fir-lined trails the Pacific Northwest has to offer or cross-country skiing around Mt. Hood.
