Lindsey went to the California Institute of Integral studies and obtained her masters in Integral Counseling Psychology (December 2017). This program emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach to mental, physical and spiritual well-being both internally and externally. Lindsey was drawn to this line of work through her own life experiences and in working with others who have been in vulnerable places and in need of support. She values the unique creativity and spontaneous actions of folks that she works with and sees the openness of aliveness within. In working with people, Lindsey attunes to directly to the experience of others and sees openings of resilience and strength. She works collaboratively with folks to utilize these internal resources as well as encourages building new ones through the therapeutic relationship.
As an Oregon native, she enjoys spending time outdoors in the vast majesty of this terrain as well as enjoying art, music, home construction projects and the Portland Trail Blazers. Previous experience has included working on a fishing boat out of Depoe Bay, with NAMI Multnomah, LinesforLife, and having a substantial role in implementing incentive wellness rewards programs with MCO’s across the country. Lindsey cultivates her aliveness and defuses some of her daily stressors by singing, hiking, practicing Tai Chi and breaking up dry-wall. She looks forward to connecting with those who come our way.
