Judy grew up in Melbourne, Australia, where, in between teaching high school, she enjoyed adventurous beach vacations and community involvements. In her late twenties, Judy moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to explore alternative healing methods, discovering her path of contemplative practice and beginning a lifelong commitment to inner growth. Judy lived and worked in Switzerland for nine years, hosting a weekly meditation group in her home and helping to run a nation-wide meditation organization. She also lived for eleven years in a vibrant international meditation community on the east coast. In 2007, Judy relocated to Northampton, Massachusetts, where she became involved with the Windhorse community. In 2011 she was invited to manage the Northampton Still Point residence, and then in 2012 to transfer to San Luis Obispo to set up Still Point here. She is grateful for the opportunity to work for an organization that values warmth, compassion and wisdom, honoring the innate goodness in each person.
