Gary received his Master’s at Vermont College where he studied men’s issues and embodiment. He has continued to study embodiment and its intersection with psychology for more than 15 years, and to develop his own practice of embodiment through psychotherapy, peer-support, improvisational dance, and running. He has taught numerous workshops on embodiment and has worked in the healing professions since 1997. Through Body-Centered Psychotherapy, Gary invites his clients to connect with their bodies as an authentic source of power and supports the development of each client’s internal self-nurturing. Gary has been a participant and teacher at the Connecticut Men’s Gathering, has led scores of men’s groups, and has been mentored into adulthood by men who love him. Gary lives in Western Massachusetts with his family and maintains a private psychotherapy practice in Northampton, MA.
