Dana was on the ground floor of the San Luis Obispo start-up in the role of Office Manager. Her warmth, humor and heart – and her passion for the holistic Windhorse approach – has been invaluable to our community for the entire six+ years she’s been with us. She relocated to Portland in 2015 to support our second west coast start-up. In Spring 2017, Dana returned to San Luis Obispo as Still Point Manager, the perfect role for an even fuller expression of her innate hospitality and authentic compassion. She has a much-appreciated keen eye for creating and maintaining uplifted, healing environments, to turn a house into a healing home.
Dana is a California native and loves the weather, pace and outdoor opportunities unique to the central coast. She has two grown children, a son and daughter, and is delighted to be a grandmother. Her family also includes her two dogs, whom she adores. It might be more accurate to say that Dana has four children! She loves to hike, tries to embrace healthy living, and is a true foodie, as evident by her creative exploration of new restaurants and by her good home cooking. Beneath her wonderfully playful and engaging personality, Dana has a spiritual and contemplative core that resonates deeply with the Windhorse work.
