• Windhorse Northampton is seeking a part time RN or LPN with psychiatric experience to join our innovative treatment program and provide individualized, home-based care to people with psychiatric disorders. Our care is recovery-oriented, based in compassion and respect. We promote recovery through restoring personal, social, and environmental connections and attending to the whole person. We are looking for an experienced nurse with special interest in whole-person psychiatric treatment who can integrate medication and wellness regimes, working as part of a team. In-depth knowledge of psychotropic meds and appreciation of alternative treatments needed. Should have ongoing contemplative practice and be actively invested in your own personal growth.     Job Description:

    Clinical team counselors work on a team of 4+ clinicians, each offering a tremendous amount of support and 1-on-1 time to clients. A team counselor meets with a client for typically 3 hours at a time, perhaps several times per week, partaking in activities that support healing in client homes or out and about in the community such as hiking, sharing a meal, getting coffee, volunteering, taking a class together, etc. Full-time case load is only a few clients per counselor, allowing for extensive depth of healing and connection. A generous amount of supervision, mentoring and training is offered for this position.

  • Windhorse Integrative Mental Health is seeking housemates. A housemate lives with a person experiencing significant emotional distress (i.e. depression, schizophrenia, trauma, etc.) and needing a high level of support and interaction in their recovery process. Windhorse uses a mindfulness-based philosophy in working with these individuals. Each household is fully supported by a clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-grounded person interested in supporting those seeking recovery and well-being. It is an opportunity for self-growth and work within the human services. Specific experience in this field is not required. Being engaged in a personal contemplative discipline (i.e. meditation, yoga, etc.) would be supportive to this job.

    Benefits include a weekly stipend, rent and utilities are paid for, a monthly food allowance, the freedom to work up to 25 hours per week at another job, ongoing individual and group training and supervision.
