Following a brief conversation with an admissions person you may find that you want to visit us immediately or receive printed materials about Windhorse.
We appreciate a few days notice before your initial visit. The visits last from one to several hours. It may be possible to begin working with us very quickly through The Still Point residence.
Some visitors desire to stay overnight and participate in some aspect of the community. You can find lodging nearby and we are happy to help you with that.
Some times during a visit people want to meet a current client and speak to them about their experience. With notice we are able to offer that possibility.
Follow up conversations are most often conducted with Eric Friedland-Kays, the admissions manager, who can be contacted at extension 106
He will follow the process through a possible second visit and admission.
If placement is available in The Still Point residence, one can begin working with us very quickly. Otherwise, the length of the admissions process varies, but typically it takes from two to four weeks to constellate the best team, find an appropriate housemate, and locate a suitable apartment for the client to live in.
