Family

The Windhorse community and treatment approach is made up of clients, families and professionals. From our point of view, each group informs the other and holds an important part of the work.  Although families are not "on site" the way clients and professionals are, families hold the history, the development of, and close bonds with the client.  Families are a resource for teams.

The Family Program aims to connect families to the Windhorse community through education, support and family work.  Mary Tibbetts, the Family Coordinator orients each family in person or over the phone and remains a resource to families for questions and concern outside of the team context.
